As AI becomes increasingly ubiquitous in postsecondary settings, institutions are grappling with how courses and assessments should adapt. While concerns about academic integrity persist, the conversation is shifting toward more practical design questions: what should students be asked to do, and how should learning be assessed, when AI can perform many traditional academic tasks?

This webinar examines how AI’s impacts are reshaping assessment practices and course design. We’ll explore strategies that make student thinking visible, emphasize higher-order analysis, and align assessments with what faculty uniquely contribute such as judgment, context and disciplinary expertise.

Whether your institution has a formal AI policy or is still working through the questions, this webinar offers design principles that apply across contexts, along with practical examples you can adapt to your own courses and programs.

Can't attend the webinar? You should still register -- all registrants will receive a recording of the webinar and a copy of the presentation slides.
