Denise Shaver
Director of Academic Assessment at Pratt Institute
Denise Shaver is the director of academic assessment at Pratt Institute. She brings over a decade of experience in curriculum and assessment, having served as director of institutional effectiveness & planning at Oakwood University and as lead online instructional designer & curriculum specialist, director of off-campus programs and assessment coordinator at Andrews University. She brings a strong focus on relationship building to this role, aiming to create a collaborative environment for faculty development that is guided by best practices in assessment. She has over twenty years of experience in college teaching. Denise holds a Ph.D. and Ed.S. in curriculum & instruction from Andrews University, an MAT in teaching from Andrews University and a B.A. in history from Oakwood University.
Cory Zhou
Associate Product Manager at Coursedog
Cory Zhou is the associate product manager at Coursedog, overseeing the assessment suite of products. Since joining Coursedog in 2021, he’s also overseen the curriculum product suite and served on our partnerships team facilitating relationships with institutions across the country. He is passionate about higher education and improving outcomes for students, aiming to do this by driving efficiencies from the top-down. Cory graduated from Yale University with a B.A. in statistics & data science and currently lives in New York City.
Bridget Moran
Senior Content Manager at Coursedog
Bridget Moran serves as Coursedog’s senior content manager, primarily researching and developing content on issues related to academic operations. Since joining Coursedog in 2021, she’s researched topics such as creating equitable course schedules and developing and implementing program maps. Before joining Coursedog, Bridget spent four years at EAB conducting best practice research for college and university leaders. Bridget graduated from Claremont McKenna College with a B.A. in government and currently lives in Washington D.C. University.
