Amanda Harris leads Inside Higher Ed’s revenue teams as the Head of Business Development. With extensive experience in account management and digital advertising solutions, Amanda has worked with a variety of clients in the higher education and political sectors. Her career includes impactful positions at WAMU 88.5, DC’s NPR station, as a National Account Executive, POLITICO as the Director of Account Management, and The Advisory Board Company as Manager of Member Services. Amanda is a proud alumna of Duke University with a Bachelor of Arts in English. Her diverse skill set and proven track record in helping clients develop and implement strategic advertising initiatives have established her as a key figure in her field.

Lauren Medway
Senior Vice President of Marketing and Digital Solutions at Inside Higher Ed

Lauren Medway is the senior vice president of marketing and digital solutions at Inside Higher Ed. She is responsible for advancing the Inside Higher Ed brand and overseeing Inside Higher Ed’s marketing solutions for institutions, corporations and non-profits. She has more than 20 years of experience in higher education marketing and has held senior marketing roles at educational technology company 2U, American University and an educational consulting firm. She received a B.A. from Tulane University in New Orleans and an MBA in marketing from American University in Washington, D.C.

Dari Gessner
CEO at Inside Higher Ed

Dari Gessner is a seasoned executive with over a decade of experience in media. Currently the CEO at Inside Higher Ed, she oversees and positions the organization as a thought leader on higher education issues. Previously, as Vice President of New Markets and Enterprise Partnerships at POLITICO, Dari oversaw new revenue streams, strategic partnerships and supported journalism through product innovation. With over five years as Chief Revenue Officer for POLITICO Europe, she managed advertising, events and subscription revenue teams. Dari's leadership roles also include Executive Director of POLITICO Pro in Europe and Managing Director of Account Management, emphasizing strategic direction and support for client growth.
